Services Provided Melissa and her husband are the parents of twin boys and a daughter through a gestational carrier. A gestational carrier is a woman who carries a child conceived through the process of in-vitro fertilization. The child is not biologically related to the gestational carrier. This is different from a traditional surrogate who supplies the egg and is the biological mother of the child she delivers. Intended Parents contact Melissa Brisman because a medical reason has prevented them from carrying or conceiving a child. Our clients may be singles or couples, same sex or heterosexual. Melissa B. Brisman, Esq., LLC provides an assortment of legal services to intended parents. The law firm drafts gestational carrier and/or donor contracts, reviews the gestational carrier's insurance, obtains pre- or post-birth orders, and/or files adoptions for the intended parents. The law firm will strive to ensure that intended parents' and any resulting child's rights are protected. |
